USI Consulting Launches Retirement Readiness Tool
The Retirement Readiness Calculator Program is intended to bolster plan sponsors’ planning and retirement support resources.
USI Consulting Group (USICG) has debuted a new Retirement Readiness Calculator program for defined contribution (DC) retirement plan participants.
USI Consulting has aimed the calculator to help workers prepare for retirement by reaffirming the importance of starting early, says Chris Martin, senior vice president at USICG. “As employees approach retirement, it is important to begin the planning process early,” he notes.
The new Retirement Readiness Calculator program will offer access to advanced planning resources, personalized support, customized solutions and financial industry best practices aimed to address the lifetime income needs of retiring participants, according to USICG.
USI offers plan advice, consulting and administrative services to retirement plan sponsor clients and participants. USICG says it has worked with 3,800 retirement plan sponsor clients and 450,000 participants with $35.5 billion of plan assets since 1975.
The Retirement Readiness Calculator is available to USI Direct Solutions program participants. Participants receive a personalized retirement strategy, including a retirement income needs assessment, recommended basic expense estimates and a retirement income plan using the lifetime income products menu available through Ash Brokerage.
Direct Solutions is USI’s bundled DC service program, offering investment advisory service employee communication and education, administration and compliance services. Retirement planning and consulting services will be provided by Ash Brokerage.
