Web Site Offers Roth Tools for Advisers
A press release said the portal provides financial advisers with access to the Roth Conversion Optimizer, a series of short Roth educational video clips, a comprehensive Roth reference library, and a fully-sourced compendium of frequently asked questions.
The Roth Conversion Optimizer is a next-generation Roth IRA conversion analysis tool that allows advisers to model ten different conversion scenarios simultaneously to help clients select a potentially optimal level of Roth IRA conversion based on a variety of user inputs. While viewing the projected net benefits for ten different conversion scenarios, advisers are able to do detailed sensitivity analysis using a wide range of variables including future tax rates, amount of outside assets, first and second generation income goals, and anticipated life expectancy, according to the announcement.
In addition, the Roth Conversion Optimizer can assist advisers in quantifying the potential advantages specifically attributable to the fact that Roth IRA assets are exempt from required minimum distributions (RMDs).
