Wickes Replaces Lofgren as Watson Wyatt Retirement Practice Head

March 1, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Watson Wyatt Worldwide has tapped Gene Wickes as the firm's new Retirement Practice Director, the company announced.

Wickes, who has been serving as vice president and West Division Practice Director for Retirement and as a member of Watson Wyatt’s Board of Directors, succeeds Eric Lofgren, who is retiring effective March 31 after 15 years with the firm.

Wickes joined Watson Wyatt in 1996 and has more than 25 years of experience consulting on retirement, health care and other human resource issues. He has a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics, an M.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University. He is based in Watson Wyatt’s Denver office.

In addition to leading the retirement consulting practice, Wickes will oversee the firm’s investment consulting and workforce planning practices.
