Workway Beefs Up Recruiting Site
The new features include a job search engine and added interactive capabilities. The former provides lists of employment opportunities that are segmented by geographical areas and categorized by key word searches.
According to a press release, employers can post jobs directly on Workway’s Web site, which makes it easier for job seekers to quickly identify and respond to potential employment opportunities. In situations where employers need to fill positions immediately, the search engine reaches out to job seekers through Web alerts.
Interactive Tools
The revised site also contains links to additional interactive Web tools including
- Workway.TV, an interactive video site that displays video job postings, branch tours and corporate policy updates regarding payroll and vacation for its staff;
- Videotag.com, an Internet communications site enabling people to record and store a personalized video that is accessed through a hyperlink listed on an e-mail signature; and
- Ontheme.nu, a blog providing real estate professionals with a humorous, yet practical, look at their industry.
“Our upgraded Web site is a bridge that automatically links employers within the financial and high-tech industries to qualified job seekers,” said Matt Johnston, CEO of Workway, in the announcement. “By adding dynamic features such as a job search engine and interactive Web tools, Workway.com is better able to meet the evolving needs of employers and job seekers.”
Workway provides the financial industry with crucial staffing positions such as bank tellers, accountants, loan processors and escrow officers. Qualified job applicants are screened through an extensive process of interviewing, skills testing and reference checking.
